Arsenal v Swansea betting preview

Emirates Stadium will be the venue which will host one of the most expected games of this next English Premier League match day. With Arsenal low deep in the mud and Swansea fighting to grab as many points as possible and avoid relegation, the game might prove to be a tough fixture for Wenger.

Swansea did not manage to make any transfers in the last week of the transfer season. They will go to London with the same squad as the one used against Sunderland.

Taking all into consideration, and the fact that Arsenal has a 1.4 odd to win the game, this would be a wise choice for those who want to make some easy money. The Gunners managed to make some good transfers and they are wounded enough to feel the need to win the game in a decisive fashion.

Another two bets that would probably prove to be very easy ones would be to bet -1 on Arsenal’s handicapped win against Swansea, starting the game from 1-0 for Swansea, and to choose over 2.5 goals.

Choosing 1/1 ( Halftime / Full time) would probably not be such a wise idea giving that Arsenal’s team is still one in need of time to grow and create playing relationships. Players like Arteta, Benayoun, Santos or Mertesacker who might show up in the first team might have troubles in finding the right way to play with each other, and the team might not score so early in the game.

So I am recommending an easy win for Arsenal, and although I have highlighted backing Arsenal at -1 on the handicap, the more adventurous of you may prefer to bet on -2.5, meaning that the Gunners have to win by three goals.

Am I being overconfident?
