The Valencia youth striker Paco Alcacer has become one of the top targets for Barcelona and Arsenal. If Arsenal win the race for the player, they could upset Barcelona and lose Thiago Alcantara.
18 year old Paco Alcacer has become a top priority for Barcelona and Arsenal after an excellent performance at Valencia B. He scored 33 goals in 54 games for the second Valencia team, and became one of the most promising prospects of the club.
If Alcacer will join Barcelona he would be the second striker to have made the move between the two clubs after Villa.
The young striker is also a top player for Spain’s youth teams. He managed to play in every youth team from the U16 one, and scored 21 goals in 25 games for his national country.
The only problem in Arsenal’s chase for the player is that if they do manage to transfer him, Barcelona might than refuse any offer the club would have for their star midfielder Thiago Alcantara, and midfielders is what the club needs most now, although a quality striker couldn’t hurt.
Paco Alcacer has a transfer minimum release fee of £8.7 million, so both teams are on a level playing ground. The only thing that will set them apart is what the player wishes for most.
