Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger seems to have eyed yet another young wonderkid and he is about to submit an offer which will surely persuade Borussia Monchengladbach to sell attacking midfielder Marco Reus.
The 22-year-old German star joined Monchengladbach little over 2 years ago for a very small transfer fee of €800.000 and he managed to become a very well established member of the team shortly after. Now Reus became an International player after his debut for Germany in a friendly against Turkey in October.
The player is valued at about £15 million now by The Mirror who says that both Arsenal and Manchester City sent scouts throughout this Bundesliga season at Monchengladbach’s games and are expected to submit transfer fees starting with the January transfer market opening.
The attacking midfielder was also watched by German giants Bayern Munchen, but the Bavarian side is unwilling to submit such a big fee for 22-year-old and the negotiations will probably get swamped.
If Arsene Wenger will decide to go for the international midfielder he is sure to have a chance at snatching the lad and it would surely be a great addition to the Frenchman’s young side. Don’t you guys think so?
