Support Arsenal’s future transfers by betting on Belgium

Arsenal’s vice-captain Thomas Vermaelen was amongst the Gunners called-up to their national teams, and Belgium might prove to be a very special national team for both Wenger and every Arsenal fan out there, as the club will be attempting to transfer at least another Belgium international starting with the January transfer move.

Wenger has already made his claim for Lille’s attacking midfielder Eden Hazard and he is expected to go back with transfer fees both in January and in the summer following the player’s late statements in which he spoke about moving on with his career and leaving Lille.

Hazard is not the only Belgian that Wenger’s interested in after he found so many qualities in Vermaelen. Ajax’s Jan Vertonghen is also a top target for the Frenchman. The Ajax footballer plays at his club as a central defender but does a much better job at his national team on the defensive midfielder role, and Arsenal really needs one of those to be able to replace Song from time to time or to be able to play with two defensive midfielders in matches with powerful teams.

The Belgium national squad will play two friendly games on the 11th and the 15th, first with Romania and then with France. The odds for the France match have not yet been settled, but you have the chance to place your money on Belgium against Romania.

There is a 1.7 odd that Vermaelen’s nation will defeat Romania so a bet with that kind of odd wouldn’t hurt anybody. You have the chance to earn some money while watching the actual and possible future Gunners in action and create a better idea of what your most favourite team could look like with those two transferred as well.
