PSG enter the race for Arsenal’s top striker

Arsenal’s outcast striker Marouane Chamakh might become team-mates with David Beckham if things go the way PSG want. The French club are rumoured to submit a transfer fee of £10million for Wenger’s striker in January which should persuade the Frenchman to sell Chamakh.

The Moroccan joined Arsenal in 2010 but he didn’t manage to really prove his skill at the club after having an explosive start. Even though he was coming from Bordeaux where he was having a blast and he was scoring regularly, the first season at Arsenal only brought him 11 goals and this season is lost because he doesn’t have any chance to get Robin Van Persie out of the team given the form he’s in.

This is partly the fault of Gervinho’s transfer because when the Ivorian was transferred Robin was moved in the centre of the attack, but this seems to have worked out great for the Dutchman who is now the top scorer in England.

If Chamakh joins PSG he might have the chance to be colleagues with David Beckham if the former English International will choose to transfer to the League 1 side instead of Tottenham.
