Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger submitted a £25 million fee down Borussia Dortmund’s way for the signature of talented midfielder Mario Gotze, but according to TalkSport the German side won’t agree to sell for nothing less than £30 million.
Even though Wenger doesn’t usually spend that much on a transfer, we must say that this is a midfielder who at only 19-years-old managed to become a regular player for the senior German national team and he is also wanted by all the big names in the business.
After Arsenal lost Nasri and Fabregas in the summer, people are starting to talk that they also lost a great part of the spectacular playing style they had until not long ago, but this would all change once Gotze will be in town.
If Wenger won’t submit another bid for Gotze he still has a chance to transfer one of the many young talented attacking midfielder who were linked with Arsenal. Marco Reus, Eden Hazard or Gabriel Torje are only 3 of the names Arsenal is rumoured to be interested in, and to be truthful every one of them would be a good addition.
