Arsenal will receive some heat in their attempt to sign Lille’s striker Moussa Sow. The Senegalese was linked with the Gunners since the summer transfer window closed, but now Tottenham want him as well.
Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp has decided he must create a great team at Tottenham, and they are now interested in two very talented strikers. Moussa Sow is one of the primary targets, but Brazilian striker Amauri is also one of the primary candidates and Juventus seem willing to let him go.
“Amauri to Tottenham? On our side there is the desire to facilitate this eventual transfer.”, declared general manager Marotta.
If Tottenham will indeed get their hands on Amauri they will clear the way for Arsenal’s talks, but Wenger also has eyes on a few other strikers which might take priority over Sow. Podolski is one of the top transfer targets at Arsenal, but if things won’t go the right way with him Wenger is very likely to go for Sow who he’s been watching for a long time.
The single question is if he will be able to adapt. Chamakh came at Arsenal after an excellent spell with Bordeaux, but wasn’t really able to impose himself at Arsenal. What do you think?
