Stan Kroenke sacks manager after losing 14 games in a season

The Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has shown that he IS capable of interfering with the running of his teams if things don’t go as well as they should be.

One of his teams in America, the NFL side St. Louis Rams has had an even worse season than Arsenal losing 14 of their 16 games and ending up joint bottom of the NFL. Kroenke reacted by sacking the manager and bringing in a high-profile replacement in Jeff Fisher.

Many Arsenal fans are calling for Kroenke to begin interfering in Arsene Wenger’s reign at the Emirates, either by insisting that the club invests heavily in the team to bring it up to scratch and keep their coveted place in the Champions League.

Many others believe that Wenger’s hands are tied by Kroenke and the Board and they are directly responsible for the lack of investment and are happy for Wenger to continue bringing through youngsters to sell in the future.

At least this news from America shows that Kroenke can make drastic changes if he feels the need, and Arsene Wenger is just three games short of making it 14 defeats in this season……
