Which strikers should be on Arsenal’s summer shortlist?

Even though the situation at Arsenal has been a bit more relaxed after the massive win against Tottenham, the Arsenal transfer rumours are still roaring around the Emirates Stadium side. The summer transfer season opening will surely bring the transfer of a striker after Arshavin’s expected departure.

Taking into consideration that Park and Chamakh are also highly likely to leave after failing to impose themselves, Arsene Wenger has what is rumoured to be a striker shortlist which contains big names amongst which Podolski and Giroud are the best and most likely to join.

Montpellier’s Olivier Giroud has recently admitted his interest in joining the Premier league and more especially Arsenal saying that he feels close to the club, while Koln’s Lukas Podolski has also spoken about his admiration for the Gunners last December when he said that a pottential move would interest him.

They are not the only two strikers who are interested in joining the club and despite not being as renouned as the two are, Bursaspor’s striker Burak Yilmaz declared that if he’s going to leave the Turkish club he’d like to have the Emirates Stadium as a destination.

Given the stats he has this season being the league top scorer by a large margin, Yilmaz wouldn’t be a bad addition at all, but Giroud or Podolski still seem to be the better choices.

Who do you think should or will join Arsenal this summer?
