Chamakh to lead the way in Arsenal clear-out

The news of a possible Arsenal summer clearance didn’t go unnoticed, and the first rumours seem to be coming in speaking about possible departures.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seems eager to drop all the useless players at the club like Park, Squillaci, Chamakh or Almunia, and the transfer market seems to have come alive at the thought of this, with Chamakh in the spotlight.

Although the Moroccan striker failed to impress both at Arsenal and more recently at his national team, some of Europe’s finest are roaring to put their hands on the striker who once stunned the French League 1 with his impressive performances which earned him the move to London.

Fiorentina, PSG and Bordeaux are three teams who are supposedly highly interested in the striker. Bordeaux seemingly wants to get back their former top striker, and PSG just wants to pile up talented players in “Manchester City” fashion, because it’s hard to see Chamakh making room between some of the very talented strikers from the Parisian side.

Andriy Arshavin, Park, Vela, Denilson, Bendtner and Almunia complete the list of those who are wanted away by both Wenger and the fans after failing to show their worth in the club’s shirt, but let’s just hope the money from their transfers will go right back into some top player.
