During the course of this summer, various players in the positions, Arsenal are said to be need in have been linked to the club. Depending on the outlook and the veracity of such speculations, those in the corridors of the media have used Arsenal’s supposed interest in some players to aver that signings are closer than few might think. These rumours and counter rumours have linked the likes of Mathieu Debuchy, Loic Remy, Morgan Schneiderlin and most notably Alexis Sanchez this summer. As the speculations goes on, the question in the lips of many is how will these players improve Arsenal if they sign up at the Emirates?
The soon to be 29 year old former Lille youth product has been enjoying a good World Cup in Brazil. Putting in some stellar performances for the French. He joined Newcastle in January 2013 and has been an ever present player at right back.

The 24 year old Southampton and French midfielder has being under the radar, but has gone about his business efficiently at the St. Marys. Known for his ‘stealing of the ball’ of an opponent feet, he will add some steeliness to Arsenal’s midfield. He has been very consistent for the South coast posting impressive defensive figures from midfield. Last season alone, he made an impressive 119 tackles and together with 107 interceptions. Another very astonishing part of his game is his ability to win back possession cleanly. Doing that 193 times. Which is huge. Which will suit Arsenal especially when it without the ball.
His passing is another asset to his game, making 1430 passes with, 852 coming in attack. With an average of 3:4 tackles, 1.4 clearances and 2.1 interceptions per game, he would suit Arsenal’s style.
The 27 year old QPR striker who was on loan at Newcastle United last season, is a versatile player who can play in the wings and in attack with an advantage of being pacy. He scored 14 league goals in 26 league appearance last season. With Arsenal’s midfield, he can improve on that figure.
The versatile attacker will bring pace, drive, energy and interchangeability to Arsenal’s front line. He scored 19 goals with 10 assist last season for Barcelona. The 25 year old can play anywhere in the final third. And his defensive nous is an attribute of his game despite his remarkable talent as an attacking player.
