With the Arsenal looking like they have completed the signing of Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach, it appears the Gunners are not in the mood to stop their business in the transfer window soon. It has been widely reported that aside players coming in, some other players will be allowed to leave the club this summer.
It seems one of such players that will be leaving the Emirates stadium permanently is Wojciech Szczesny who according to reports in the Italian media have been told by Wenger he could stay at Roma permanent if the Italian clubside are ready to part away with €20m.
Szczesny has spent the last one year on loan at the AS Roma and there have been reports in the media the Rome clubside will like to make his loan spell a permanent one. With Cech not looking like he will stop being Arsenal’s number one soon, Szczesny is certainly not keen to return to Arsenal and due to his own fault, I don’t think any Arsenal fan will bleak an eye if he is sold.
The Poland international is no doubt a very good goalkeeper but he is not serious enough to play for club like Arsenal and it may be best for both parties if they part ways.
