ALMOST DONE: Kante Reject Leicester Contract, To Sign For Arsenal

According to Le Parisien Arsenal have been given the go ahead to finally complete the signing of Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante. According to reports, Kante has rejected an offer from Leicester City for a new contract. This report if true means Arsenal are now clear to complete the signing of the Frenchman.

Kante who has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier league in the last season has been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Arsenal. Wenger is said to have held talks with the player and his representatives earlier this month.

With Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri had confirmed in April he won’t stand in the way of any of his players should they want to leave the club which means it will be less complicated for Arsenal to sign the player.

However, with Arsenal signing Granit Xhaka, I see no need for Kante unless we are selling or loaning out someone. And with Ramsey and Chamberlain linked with a move away from the club, this could well be an hint of what to expect.
