Arsene Wenger is targeting 23-year-old Tom Rogic who plays in midfield for Celtic after successfully signing Borussia Monchenglabach’s Granit Xhaka this week. According to the Sun, Rogic is available for around £7million which would be re-invested by the Scottish club for a replacement once the midfielder leaves for the Emirates.
Rogic was outstanding last season which was his breakout season for the Scottish club scoring ten goals. The signing is highly likely given that they is a dearth of midfielders in Arsenal after the impending exit of Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta and Mattieu Flamini in the summer.
At 23, it is difficult to say Rogic is one for the future hence flawing the need for his signing especially given the fact that Arsenal is stocked with better established players like Jack Wishere, Mohammed El’neny, Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey.
