In a news that could indicate Juventus have accepted the fact that they will be losing Alvaro Morata this summer, reports claim the old Lady are in the market for an attacker. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are interested in signing Liverpool flop Christian Benteke, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Michy Batshuayi, of Marseille as a replacement for soon to leave Morata.
The report claim Juventus believe they can get either Benteke or Lukaku for €40 million and Batshuayi for €30 million. This certainly means they are already preparing for the almost inevitable departure of Morata.
Reports from Spain claim Arsenal have abandoned their interest in Jamie Vardy after the Leicester City striker told them to wait till the end of the European Championship before making up his mind. Arsenal have been linked with the signing of Morata for months now. It was initially thought Arsenal have abandoned the interest in Morata after triggering the release clause of Vardy but it appears Wenger is not ready to be kept waiting.
And rightly so, Arsenal suffered the same fate last summer when they waited and waited for Benzema and ended up making no striker signing after the Frenchman decided he was going to remain at Real Madrid.
