Popular French Daily, L’Equipe, are reporting that Arsenal man Mathieu Debuchy wants to leave the North London side
The news will come as no surprise to Arsenal faithful as Debuchy spent the Second stanza of the just concluded season in the French league one with Bordeaux on loan and has always expressed his displeasure at the way he was displaced from the first team by Hector Bellerin while out injured.
Arsenal are asking for €10m for the defender who is under contract until 2019, which could be too much for his former club, Lille who are looking to save him from his Arsenal misery.
Injury has hindered his place in both Arsenal and national team ahead of the Euros. He lost his place in the Arsenal squad upon his arrival from Newcastle due to injury, and also lost his position to Sagna in the French National team.
Debuchy, 30, looks good for two more years playing in the top flight, buy certainly won’t be at North London.
