Arsenal’s Likely Line Up With Jamie Vardy – 4-2-3-1 Formation, No Giroud

Arsenal, the runner up of the previous Premier League campaign are looking to add to their ranks in the summer transfer window and they have decided to look at the squad of the reigning Premier League Champions Leicester City.

Arsene Wenger has set his eyes on the Leicester City duo, Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez the football Writers’ Player of the Year and PFA Player of the Year respectively. According to Express, Arsenal will surely become hot favourites for the title if they can successfully lure the top quality duo. Infact, the Gunners would be a formidable force and one to reckon with if they can sign the talismans.

If Arsenal is able to secure the services of the Leicester City duo, it would be an icing on the cake as they have already completed the signing of the tenacious Swiss and former Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder in person of Granit Xhaka.

Jamie Vardy, the England born striker and a revelation last season was the second highest goal scorer in the premier league for the 2015-16 season with 24 league goals, one goal behind Golden Boot winner, Harry Kane. Riyad Mahrez on the other hand, was the creative hub of the foxes in the previous campaign as he scored 17goals and assisted 11 other goals.

The arrival at the duo at Arsenal would be sensational and would instill fear in the heart of the defence of other clubs as the dynamism of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez would be too much to handle especially if Arsenal deploys a 4-2-3-1 formation with Jamie Vardy as the arrow head of the attack.
