And if you believe Skysports, Arsenal have signed yet another player. This time it is highly rated Nigerian midfielder Kelechi Nwakali who was named the best player at the last FIFA under 17 world cup in Chile. The Nigerian who was voted the best player of the tournament has been linked with a move to Porto, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham.
However, according to Skysports, Arsenal have won the race for the player’s signature and according to Sky, he has even had his medical last November and will be announced as an Arsenal player in the next couple of days.
The Nigerian will be expected to either go on loan or play with Arsenal’s reserves and climb his way from there to the first team just like his fellow Nigeria Alex Iwobi did.
