The 27-year-old Armenia international looks sure to leave the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund this summer, after refusing to renew his contract with the German club, and it is believed that the Gunners are not the only team interested in him, as Manchester United have also shown interest.
The midfielder’s contract is set to run out next summer, and Dortmund CEO Michael Zorc has made it clear that the club will be forced into cashing in on the player this week, so as not to lose him in bosman rule next summer.
