Sensation news in the German media today will certainly delight Arsenal fans who are desperate to see their club bringing in the right type of players who will give us the chance to win the league next season. According to a report by SportBild, Arsenal are in talks with the agents of Mario Gotze with a view of bringing the player to London from Bayern Munich this summer.
This is as it appears we have lost out on the chance to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Dortmund. Dortmund had last night confirmed they will not be selling the player this summer and will instead let him leave on a free transfer in 2017. And for finally nail Arsenal’s coffin, the player’s agent confirmed the player is more interested in signing for Manchester United than Arsenal.
But Arsenal have moved on according to BILD and may now be signing Mario Gotze who is surplus to reguirement at Bayern Munich. Gotze has been very vocal with his disappointment about the lack of playing time at Bayern and this could work perfectly in Arsenal’s favour.
He is said to be available for 27 million but knowing Arsenal, a cheaper deal could be gotten which is good considering how much other players who are not as good as Gotze are currently been sold for.
