According to the Guardian , Arsenal have suffered a huge blow in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund defender Raphaël Guerreiro.
It’s been reported that Guerreiro, 22, has snub Arsenal to put pen to paper to sign a four-year-deal with the Bundesliga giant Borussia Dortmund.
The Portuguese international who is currently representing his Nation at the European championship has at several times been scouted by Arsene Wenger.
Doubts over Kieran Gibbs’ long-term future at Arsenal has prompted Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to go out in search of a replacement for him.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told the club’s official website,
“Raphael Guerreiro is a technically-skilled player who feels at home in several positions. We are very happy that he has chosen Borussia Dortmund.”
With Guerreiro out of Arsenal’s reach, Arsene Wenger is seriously aiming to sign Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez and have begin talks over a potential summer move.
Arsenal are serious in doing business as they are set to activate his €25m release clause, revealed Kicker.
