Personal Terms Agreed, Mario Gotze To Become A Gunner, Confirmed By BBC

London giant Arsenal are looking to bolster their attacking options as Arsene Wenger look to win more titles in the upcoming season. Wenger knows that there is a need to strengthen the club, as some players have already left Arsenal and others could follow suit as well.

More players need to be added prior to the commencement of the new season as well and a lot of stars have been linked with Arsenal in recent times.

A new name has been added to the growing list of players closely linked with Arsenal, now is German international Mario Gotze, with the Gunners expected to battle Liverpool for the Bayern Munich man. The interesting thing about the Gotze links is that media houses such as BBC and Skysports have all confirmed it with some reports even claiming the world cup winner has agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

Gotze, 24, was reportedly unhappy at the Allianz Arena, due to lack of playing time under former manager Pep Guardiola and was considering his options for an exit. The coming of new manager Carlo Ancelotti at the club could see things change now.

The midfielder is currently representing the World Champions Germany at the European championship tournament in France and will want to impress for his national team.

The former Borussia Dortmund man can pass the ball around quickly and the link-up play with his team-mates is a plus point for the midfield superstar which makes him an ideal player for Arsenal.
