Celta Vigo president Carlos Mourino has admitted that Spanish striker Nolito is certainly available for sale to Arsenal.
During the week, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger disclosed that he is likely to add at least two more players to his current Arsenal squad following the earlier signing of Swiss international Granit Xhaka from German side Borussia Monchengladbach.
It is believed that the Arsenal boss is seeking alternative striker to strengthen his Arsenal side against next season, following Jamie Vardy’s apparent decision to turn down a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been linked with a surprise move for Vardy, who will help to increase the Gunners attacking options for upcoming campaign. The deal is valued to be £20m.
The English man scored 24 goals in 36 Premier League matches; and played a pivotal role in the Foxes wining the Premier League title. Spanish striker Nolito, has been linked with a move to the Emirates, over the past months, is believed to be on Wenger’s radar.
According to Celta Vigo president Carlos Mourino, Nolito,29, is now available for any interested suitor who is willing to pay the asking price.
The la liga club president said, “I think that Nolito will leave Celta this year”.
“There are no numbers, no negotiations. He has a buy-out clause of £13.8 million pounds. Who pays it can sign him.”
The impressive Nolito is in the Spanish National team squad currently participating in the on-going European championship in France.
