Reports from British tabloid emerged on Saturday that Surprise Premier League Champions Leicester City want more than just money for Riyad Mahrez , as they want Theo Walcott in exchange.
The report of a swap seems to have originated from Italian journalist, Emaniele Giulianelli, who also said that the Gunners have made an approach to Leicester regarding Mahrez.
When was the last time you remember the Gunners being involved in a player swap arrangement?
Arsene Wenger was earlier quoted saying, not only that Theo was going nowhere this summer, but also that he wasn’t interested in signing Mahrez.
It’s not surprising that England man Walcott, who thinks he’s far better than he’s ever been, wouldn’t agree to join Champions Leicester, a club who are unlikely to maintain Champions League football.
The foxes are also believed to be very keen to keeping the stars that helped them win the Premier League and I don’t understand how they would value two players, who had vastly different seasons, the same.
