According to reports, Real Madrid latest signing Alvaro Morata is preparing to move to London and with Chelsea having confirmed the signing of Michy Batshuayi, they might not need Morata again, putting Arsenal in pole position to sign the Spain international striker. Some reports claim Arsenal have had a bid accepted for the player and that it is only a matter of time before the deal is made official.
Real Madrid activated a £23 million buyback clause in Morata’s contract last week and could choose to sell him for something around the £45 million mark.
He was re-signed back from Serie A champions Juventus, but could be immediately sold for a huge profit to any interested suitor.
The Spain international has since been linked with London clubs Chelsea and Arsenal, along with a return to Juventus, but latest report now claim the player is now looking for a home in London.
Popular Property giants, Proto, have announced they’ve been instructed by Morata to find a home in London for the former Juventus striker. The same property firm made a similar revelation regarding imminent Manchester United signing Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a house in the Northwest.
A spokesman for the Property giant Proto told calciomercato.com: “We were asked to find a buyer for the apartment Morata had bought long ago in the centre of Turin.
“Meanwhile, we can also announce that Morata is looking for a house in London. His requirements are quite restricted in contrast to other players.”
The 23-year-old spain international striker scored twice at Euro 2016, and his agent Juanma Lopez has confirmed that “the player has offers on the table to move to England,” according to the Mirror.
Morata himself has said Real Madrid “will decide if they want me — otherwise, we will find another solution.”
