Arsenal target Zlatan Ibrahimovic has taken to Social media site Twitter to confirm that he’s chosen to join our rivals Manchester United this summer.
The former PSG striker has been rumoured to join Arsenal rivals United after announcing last month that he was leaving French champions Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires on June 30th.
Manchester United were preparing to put Zlatan through his medical after agreeing personal terms with his agent over a lucrative one-year contract as reported earlier this month by Sky Sports News .
The Gunners have once again missed out on a player whose number of goals for Lyon last season could have gotten Arsenal the title. Arsenal has been without a ’25 goal a season striker’ since Van Persie departed for Manchester United.
The Mirror reported just last night that Zlatan’s proposed deal would be completed by the weekend with the big striker expected to sign a deal worth £220,000-a-week but it’s not clear whether that medical has now been completed
The Swedish super-star retired from international football after his country was knocked out of the on-going European championships earlier this month.
