Fee AGREED, Medical BOOKED, Arsenal To ANNOUNCE 31-Goal Striker Signing

Arsenal have in the last couple of days linked with the signing of one striker to the other. But it appears Wenger and his team of deal makers are succeeding in their bid to bring in a striker to the Emirates this summer. According to Sporting CP striker Islam Slimani has said his future is up in the air.

Slimani made this statement when asked of his future as North London club Arsenal close in on his signature. This is as some reports are claiming Arsenal have agreed a fee with Sporting Lisbon for the player.

Report says the striker’s future is in doubt with the African admitting, “I don’t know what’s going to happen.” The striker has been linked with the Gunners and this statement has led to reports suggesting a deal to bring him to North London is closer to happening than thought.

North London rivals Spurs are believed to be eyeing a swoop for the Algeria international, who has also attracted the eye of reigning Premier League champions Leicester City.

The striker is contracted to Portuguese outfit Sporting until 2020 and his club manager has admitted he is powerless to stop the striker from moving on.

Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger is looking out for a striker after losing England international Danny Welbeck to knee surgery for nine months, with Argentine and Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuian and PSG’s Edinson Cavani previously linked with the Emirate club.
