Arsenal are finally having success in their bid to sign a striker this summer as reports claim the Gunners have agreed personal terms with Romelu Lukaku ahead of a move to the Emirates. The big Belgian striker has been linked with moves to Arsenal in the last few weeks despite reports that Evertonal are not ready to sell him just yet.
The player himself has confirmed he will leave to leave Everton for a bigger club, one that is playing in the Champions League. Despite having played with both Chelsea and Anderlecht two clubs who play frequently in the Champions League but unfortunately, Lukaku hasn’t experienced what it takes to play in the Champions League.
At Anderlecht, he was just a youth player and was not registered to play for the Belgian club in the Champions League, while at Chelsea he was registered but was never considered good enough.
With Arsenal, he will be able to play in the Champions League and he will feel he has a good chance of ousting Olivier Giroud fron Arsenal’s first team. The only stumbling block to this deal happening will be Everton excessive demands. The owners of the club are said to be wanting as much as £65m before the assert to the deal but hopefully, super agent Mino Raiola will be able to get them to lower their demands.
