After an impressive debut season in the English Premier League and an impressive run in the ongoing Euros, it is little wonder that Kante has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
With Kante having a release clause of £20m in his contract at Leicester, it is believed interested clubs could bid higher than the release clause and Leicester have the right to accept the highest bid only. It is no secret that Wenger is a huge fan of Kante, speaking highly of the 25-year-old recently on French TV. Wenger will jump at the opportunity to bring Kante to the Emirates even after bringing in Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka, both play in the same role as Kante.
Leicester are keen to hold on to their powerful midfielder, offering Kante a new deal to stay at the King Power Stadium worth £100,000-a-week, but the 25-year-old would prefer to leave. Recent reports suggest Chelsea are keen on signing the player but it is believed Arsene Wenger will win the race.
Kante who is still with the French side in the Euros hasn’t ruled out a move to Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus or Real Madrid which makes it even more interesting. However, unless Ramsey leaves, which is looking very likely now, signing Kante will be a misplaced priority for Arsenal.
