According to reports, Arsenal has tabled a £12million bid for Borussia Dortmund Centre back Neven Subotic which has been accepted.
German newspaper Bild reports the Serbian international defender has been given permission by his Bundesliga side Dortmund to discuss transfer terms with other clubs.
Report also indicates that Liverpool and Middlesbrough have both been linked with the defender in recent weeks, as well as Bundesliga side FC Koln.
The Gunners have now moved ahead of other suitors and have tabled formerly a £12m bid for the defender, says German publication Express.
The offer is believed to be about £8m more than Dortmund’s asking price, as the offer reflects the high demand for the centre-back.
Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen on selling Subotic who was not part of the managers plans last season, playing just 11 games in all competitions.
The defender who has spent 8 years at the German side surely has a lot left to offer at just 27-years-old, and has a lot of experience at both club and international level.
