Arsenal’s target N’Golo Kante is said to be the subject of an impending £35million bid from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG which has been accepted by Leicester City, according to reports. N’Golo Kante who is one win away from an amazing title double after winning the Premier League with Leicester City and now playing in the final of Euro 2016.
Kante had a superb debut season with Leicester, playing a key role in Raneiri’s Foxes winning their first ever Premier League title. Kante’s performance for the Foxes didn’t go unnoticed, as he has attracted interest from top European clubs like Arsenal and Real Madrid. Arsene Wenger is a huge fan of the dynamic midfielder and has made his admiration for Kante publicly known.
Arsenal are said to have enquired about the availability of Kante who is rumored to have a £20million release clause in his contract. But latest reports claims that Sven Goran Eriksson is keen to bring Kante to Shanghai SIPG and is set to lodge a formal bid of £35million for the services of the Leicester midfielder.
Kante who moved to Leicester for a fee of £5.6million last summer while making 40 appearances and scoring one goal in all competition for the Foxes is yet to decide where he would be plying his trade next season.
