5-Years Deal Agreed, £42.6m To Be Paid, Higuain To Become A Gunner?

Latest report concerning Higuain’s move to Arsenal has revealed that the Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger has blocked Arsenal’s deal to sign Napoli and Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain after transfer details leaked to the media.

According to Calciomercato, the Gunners are set to submit an offer to the Serie A club for the Argentine striker, the offer which could see the Gunners pay about £42.6m and Olivier Giroud moving to the other direction.

Emanuele Giulianelli, who is a respected journalist, had claimed that the Gunners are supposedly close to agreeing terms with the Argentine after he was offered a 5 year deal worth about £7.6m annually.

It was also reported by Raffaele Auriemma, an Italian journalist, that Oliver Giroud’s agent has told him that  his client was ready to move the over way, should the swap deal materialize.

Latest report indicates that further discussions with Napoli hierarchy has now been cancelled, according to Metro was quoted as saying that the Arsenal boss has blocked the deal after transfer details reportedly leaked to the press.

It seems the Arsenal Wenger angry that Oliver Giroud found out about the proposed swap deal in the media, which is a huge disrespect to the France international striker.
