With the new English football season starting in just 14 days, Arsenal are still yet to bring in the very much needed striker. However, reports claim Arsenal may be set to complete move for the £12million-RATED Real Madrid star Jese Rodriguez.
The north London club and Liverpool according to report from Sky Sports will face competition for the services of Rodriguez after Paris Saint-Germain has joined the duo for signature of the Spaniard. The two Premier League giants are previously reported to be the only suitors for Jese until the recent interest from the French club.
The French club are looking into the possibility of landing Jese who’s out-of-favour at the Santiago Bernabeu, reportedly seeking for a move away from the European champions.
The 23-year-old was unable to nail down a regular first-team football in the Real squad, and there have been reports that the Premier League duo are tracking his progress.
However, the Parisians boss Unai Emery recently gave his comment that, “It’s a possibility, as are other opportunities in the transfer window. I know Jese well, the club knows Jese well, he is a good player.”
Elsewhere, the Reds have also revived their interest in Germany international Jonas Hector, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
Liverpool are believed to be keen on snapping up the FC Koln full-back before the beginning of the upcoming campaign after he excelled brilliantly at Euro 2016 for Germany.
