Arsenal Complete Record Breaking Deal For World-Cup Winner – Not Mahrez

Arsenal’s Nigerian starlet Kelechi Nwakali is reportedly on the brink of completing his long-awaited move to the Emirates stadium.

The Nigerian international has been linked with a swoop move with the north London club since the start of the year and he says he has penned a five-year deal with the Gunners.

However, the Premier giants have yet to confirm the transfer with the starlet though, according to report from AllNigeriaSoccer, the report claims the deal is only a matter of days from being done.

The Nigerian playmaker is said to jet out of Murtala Muhammed Internationally Airport in Lagos tonight and the youngster will arrive in north London tomorrow.

According to Daily Star, it is expected that the Under-27 World-Cup winner will be sent out on if his bid to secure a work permit is rejected by the Home Office.

We will be paying the Academy a cool £3m for the services of the youngster. The Nigerian who reportedly attracted interest from Manchester City, Chelsea, and West Ham captained Nigeria to Under-17 World Cup glory last year.

He will become the Gunners’ fourth signing this summer after Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano, and Rob Holding.
