HUGE: Wenger Clear to Finally Seal €40mRATED Deal for Arsenal

Morning all,

Arsenal are reportedly set to make their final offer to Lyon for the club forward Alexandre Lacazette, as the club opening game against Liverpool is just two weeks away.

The report is according to the Telegraph (via The Independent), who in their report claims that the north London club are set to offer the Ligue 1 giants £45m to part with their star man.

It is believed that the Emirate outfits have actually made the French club lose interest in selling the forward with the club insufficient £29.3m offer for the French forward in the just concluded month in what was a bid that was £3 million short of West Ham United’s offer for him in back in the month of June.

The club then decided to publish reports of Arsenal’s offer for their forward and publicly claims that Lacazette is exceptional and that they did not intend to sell him.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will now be hoping that his final offer will be enough to convince Lyon to allow the forward move out from France for England.

Injured England forward Danny Welbeck’s long-term injury and France’ Olivier Giroud’s fitness rule both out of the clash against Liverpool, and Wenger has told the Gunners fans that the club are in need of an experienced forward.

If the French skipper however, fails to arrive at the club, Chuba Akpom could lead the Gunners attacking role on 14th August. He scored the winning goals for Arsenal in the club 2-1 victory against MLS All-Stars last week and has generally impressed during the club pre-season fixtures.

The youngster inexperience may false Wenger’s hand into booking for a new forward before the new season commence, with Lacazette as his prime target.
