After seeing a healthy number of transfer targets join other clubs or extend their stay with their current clubs, it now looks as though Arsene Wenger has shifted his attention and is now returning back to his vomit.
Real Madrid and Spain international striker Alvaro Morata s said to be pursuing a move to Arsenal this summer despite reports that the European champions claims that the Spaniard is going nowhere this summer.
Before Real activated buy-back clause and re-signed the Spaniard back from Juventus, it was thought that he would be heading to England, as Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea are believed to be on his shoulder back then.
Despite joining Real earlier this summer from, Morata is expected to face the exit door at the Santiago Bernabeu. There were rumours during his reign with the Italian champions that the Los Blancos are considering buying back from the Turin so he could be sold in order to get profit out of it.
Furthermore, with the club outstanding squad presently at the Bernabeu, it’s hard to see while the 23-year-old would fit in the squad, even though he does consider to remain at Real, he cannot be offer a regular first team football.
A player of his caliber deserves to play regularly in all competitions and there are undeniably Premier League clubs ready to offer the Spaniard such an offer.
However, according to latest reports, Manchester United are also looking forward to bring the Spaniard to the Old Trafford this summer.
The report also went on claiming that the Red Devils’ new boss Jose Mourinho has asked Jorge Mendes to inform the Los Blancos hierarchy’s about United desire in Morata.Man United are believed to have agreed to part with the sum of €55m for him, but the European champions are demanding for a fee close to €70m to part with the Spanish forward.
Additionally, there is mention of west Chelsea having interest on Morata. The Blues manager Antonio Conte remains an admirer of Morata having both worked successfully at Juventus, but it is believed that the Italian boss will only move for the Spaniard should he lost his chance in Everton forward Lukaku.
Clearly, it the Spaniard wants the move out from the Santiago Bernabeu. He according to reports informed his teammates that he is not looking forward to spending time with the Los Blancos outfit on the bench.
Earlier this summer, there was reports that Morata wants to play under Mourinho, however, should that become possible, the Red Devils might consider sending the likes of Rashford out on loan in order to offer the Spaniard first team and regular football.
