Arsenal are still in the transfer market in their pursuit for a central defender following the long-term injury blow on Per Mertesacker and ever since, they have been linked with a number of replacements for the German.
The north London club according to Goal has been offered the chance to complete a transfer fee of £37 million of Napoli and Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly, ahead of Chelsea and Everton.
However, there are reports that the Serie A club does not have interest in selling Koulibaly, which is also the case of the Gunners former target from AS Roma Kostas Manola.
Temporarily, the north London club has had their first initial bid of £15 million for Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi rejected, as the La Liga giants are insisting the German would only part with the German for £21 million to £25 million.
Same report from Goal also went on claiming that the north London club are expected to meet with the Spanish giants with a fee of £20 million over the coming days.
