Liverpool are reportedly ready to battle with Arsenal for the signing of Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

As the former Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini left the San Siro on Monday, Croatia often deployed box-to-box midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is said to be keen on following the manager out of the club.

However, two Premier League club said to be interested in the Croatian midfielder is Liverpool and Arsenal. But the rumours linking the two clubs with Brozovic was back in early July, but nothing came out of the report

With the new Premier League season starting in less than a week, an Italian publication, Gazzetta World (via The Telegraph) reported that the English club have reignited their interest, and will battle each for the Croatian service.

Brozovic is very technical footballer who can spot a pass, drift past opponents and link-up well with team-mates in tight spaces. Additionally, he’s versatile, shining in wide positions and in the middle of the park last term, plus he’s strong on the ball, something that’d certainly come in useful in the Premier League, according to Bleacher Report.

Brozovic, who featured for Croatia of Euro 2016, is reportedly being valued at £25.6m.
