Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
There’s a report according to a Spanish news outlet claiming that Valencia and German international Shkodran Mustafi has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal.
The report from the Spanish outlet which also went on claiming that Frenchman’s work in the transfer market this summer have not been impressive, however, they’ve found grace as one of their strongest target has agreed to on personal terms with the Gunners,
We’re seriously in need for a new centre-half which has been clearly seen since the last day of the season, no one can deny this, and with further long-term injuries to both Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista it has now made it clear that, if we’re having hope of lifting any trophy this season, a new defender need to comes in.
However, Wenger search for a new centre-back has now seems to be getting over as Mustafi’s agent Ali Bulut made a confirmation earlier today that there is an agreement between his client and the north London club.
He told Spox.com (via Marca) that, “Shkodran [Mustafi] and Arsenal have an agreement, now it is the clubs who must reach an agreement on his transfer fee.”
Mustafi has enjoyed impressive and excellent two seasons with the La Liga giants after he impressed brilliantly during the 2014 World Cup.
The German defender defensive work has been an impressive one and it’s actually an upgrade for him to move a club in the Champions League who is interested in his services.
Should a deal with the Gunners becomes fruitful, with the Los Che said to be willing to sell the German for as low as £30m, then he’ll be joining a growing core of German stars at the Emirates stadium including Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil, and Serge Gnabry.
