Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Report from the Telegraph on Monday claims Inter Milan are lining up swoop move for Arsenal and Chile international Alexis Sanchez and it’s believed should the move becomes fruitful, the Gunners may finally be open to the purchase of Mauro Icardi.
Be it as it may, I honestly don’t think Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would sanction the sale of Alexis Sanchez out of the Emirates stadium this summer. However, he could be allowed to sell the Chilean only if the revenues gained from his sale would be use to bring in new bullets to our jammed guns.
However, report according to Spanish outlet Fichajes [via The Telegraph], it claims the Italian giants are planning a £69m move for the Chilean international after claims that Sanchez has refused to a new contract extension stalled.
He still has less than two years left on his current contract with us, but his failure to re-sign a new contract with the Gunners could give the Nerazzurri hope of singing him.
The Spanish outlet state further that the Nerazzurri new boss Frank De Boer as marked the 27-year-old as his primary target for the remainder of the transfer window, and he is believed set to offer Sanchez salary worth of £7m-a-year to lure him to the San Siro.
Should Sanchez completes the move to the San Siro, he will be the highest paid player in the club history. Sanchez is familiar with Serie A having played for Udinese for five years during the 2006 – 2011 campaign.
