Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Reports coming from French media are claiming that a number of top European clubs are showing keen interest in Manchester City and France international defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The above report is according to Le 10 Sport who’re also reporting that the highly-rated French stopper has fallen down the pecking orders in the hands of the City new manager Pep Guardiola and he wasn’t even included in the club opening match nor on the bench against Sunderland on Sunday.
Also, AC Milan are also said to be showing interest in the 25-year-old while Valencia are suggested to be lining-up lucrative move for the defender should Shkodran Mustafi finally completes his move to Arsenal before the end of this summer.
Should our bid for German international Mustafi failed, we could turn attention to the Frenchman who’s reportedly seeking to remain in the Premier League.
However, it is realistic to expect that Mangala will change his mind if clubs from England fail to express interest in his services, as he clearly does not want to sit in the stands for Manchester City.
The Frenchman joined the Citizens two years ago from FC Porto in a €40 million, however, he never managed to prove his worth at the Etihad stadium since he made his move to England, despite having 48 Premier League appearances.
