Everton target and Deportive La Coruna forward Lucas Perez is on the verge of moving to Arsenal, according to report coming from Spanish daily Marca [via InsideFutbol].
The 27-year-old striker who turns 28 next month, joined Deportive from Greek outfit PAOK in Salonika in 2014, and has been a key player for the Spanish outfit over the last two seasons.
Perez has scored 19-goals in all competitions for La Liga giants in the last campaign, and has also been linked with a move to Everton. The Toffees are believe to be on the verge of slapping in a bid.
However, the north London have reportedly made a late push for the player, and personal terms have been agreed with Deportivo that will see Arsenal paying the striker’s full release clause of €20m to take the Spaniard to the Emirates stadium.
With personal agreed with the La Liga club, we’re hopeful of agreeing terms with the club for Perez soon to finalize his move to the Emirates stadium in the next few days.
