DONE! Medical Passed + Squad No. Assigned: Arsenal Target Agrees £38.4m New Deal

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Joao Mario has joined Inter Milan from Sporting Lisbon for £38.4m, which sale has seen the Portuguese the most expensive player ever sold by a Portuguese club.

Mario reportedly beats Sporting’s sales of Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.24m) and Nani (£25m) to Manchester United,  according to a report from BBC.

The report went on claiming that his deal  is also the second-biggest move out of Portugal, a little behind the fee Monaco paid for Real Madrid’s and Colombian international James Rodriguez back in the summer of 2013.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly still in negotiation to hijack one of Arsenal’s target and Brazilian Gabriel Barbosa from Santos.

The Portuguese now being an Inter player, he has reportedly chosen to wear the number 6 shirt for his new club.
