Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal are so pleased to announce completing the transfer of Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali. The highly-skilled attacking midfielder has joined Dutch side MVV Maastricht on loan for the rest of the season.
Kelechi is known to be a box-to-box midfielder, he was granted Dutch work permit. The Dutch work permit granted to the midfielder has seen him switch to the Dutch Jupiler League, where Nwakali is expected to gain the much needed work first team experience.
Before completing his move the Emirates stadium earlier this summer, the 18-year-old midfielder has been linked with the club since January but his move was not completed until this summer.
He bagged the Fifa U17 World Cup player of the tournament in Chile in 2015 after a resounding performance with Nigeria that caught the attention of the North London club.
Maastricht are no little club in the Dutch Jupiler League, as they currently ranked fifth in the Dutch league table. The Nigerian is sure to get the much needed exposure to European football, so I believe this will turn a good move for him.
