Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
If reports coming from English media are anything to go by, then we should be expecting the departure of Hector Bellerin from the Emirates next summer.
New report from Sqauwka now claims, Bellerin is poised to join Manchester City next summer and the Spaniard is palling to turn down Arsenal’s £100,000 Per Week offer in attempt to reunite with Pep Guardiola.
According to The Times, Guardiola has made priority to sign a new full-back for the next season and Bellerin with his pace and defensive skills seems to be the best candidate for Spaniard manager to strengthen the back-line of the Citizens.
Bellerin has been a key player for us since 2013 and now has emerged as the Premier League’s best right-back. He was rewarded for his excellent and outstanding performance by Arsenal, as his weekly salary was increased to £50,000.
Arsenal are poised to double the Spaniard deal if the 21-year-old agrees to extend his contract with the north London despite keen interest from his former youth set-up club Barcelona and Manchester City.
However, should Arsenal attempt to tie him down to a new deal falls through, Guardiola will face tough competition from his former club Barcelona as they are believed to be lining up lucrative move for the Spaniard in January.
As Per Squawka Bellerín, in the English Premier League, has won four tackles this season with a success rate of 40%. He has made 16 interceptions, 14 clearances and two blocks.
