Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
According to the English media sources, Chelsea attacking midfielder Cesc Fabregas could be in line for a sensational return to his former club Arsenal, after he became out-of-favour player under Antonio Conte.
The 29-year-old midfielder has been an outcast at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Italian head coach, with N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic are the preferred options in midfield.
The current situation has led to rumours that the former Barcelona star will move on and according to the reports from The Express it could be to the Emirates Stadium.
The Spaniard, of course, played for Arsene Wenger’s side, and when he left for Barca was understood to be keen on a return to the north London club.
However, at the time Arsenal head coach didn’t want him. But things have changed since then. Namely Santi Cazorla is injured and the former Gunners captain would fit the hole in Arsenal’s midfielder very nicely.
Whether Chelsea would sanction Fabregas’s sale to a title rival remains to be seen, while winning Arsenal fans still upset by his exit around would also be an issue.
Alongside with Arsenal, Chelsea star has also been linked with a move to AC Milan.
