2nd & 3rd Winter Deal Completed ! – Medicals Today, Arsenal Announce €260m Mega Deals

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then Arsenal are clearly in love with Atletico Madrid stars and want to sign three of them who have a combined worth of €260million.

Report yesterday (via Independent) claimed that the Gunners have verbally agreed wages and shirt number with Antoine Griezmann who has a release clause of 100 million euros in his contract.

The French international is not the only Atletico star wanted by the Emirates club. According to reports in Spain, they are also interested in the likes of Kevin Gameiro and Yannick Carrasco.

Don Balon reported yesterday that the Belgian playmaker is on the Gunners radar and he also has a release clause of 100 million euros in his contract.

The former Monaco playmaker has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists in 25 games for the La Liga side this season.

As far as Gameiro is concerned, Don Balon claimed that United and PSG are interested in signing the French striker who has a release clause of 60 million euros.

The Les Bleus forward won three Europa League titles with Sevilla before joining Atletico last summer. This season, he has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 18 league appearances for Diego Simeone’s team.

Apart from the above mentioned trio, the fans must not forget that we have been linked with another Atletico star in the form of Saul Niguez (via The Times).

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has got a very strong attacking midfield at his disposal and he really does not need to sign more than one quality playmaker next summer.

As far as the strike-force is concerned, Sanchez is doing wonders at the Emirates and we are hoping he will be willing to commit his long term future with Arsenal for some years to come.
