A big loss! Arsenal star complete move to Serie A club

Arsenal’s on loan shot-stopper Wojciech Szczesny, has put pen to paper and joined Napoli on a permanent basis this summer according to Italian outlet Il Mattino(h/t the Express). 

Szczesny has been at Roma on loan for two seasons now following Wenger’s preference for David Ospina and Petr Cech. The Polish international has caught the attention of many top clubs due to his amazing performance this season and Roma has shown they would like to keep him with them permanently. The Arsenal man has expressed his wish to return to Arsenal earlier this month but he would gladly settle for Roma if the Gunners does not want him.

Napoli first choice goalkeeper Pepe Reina could be leaving the club this summer and Newcastle are one of the club enlisted interested in his services. His exit would be a platform for Szczesny to join the Neapolitans and would give him the opportunity to announce himself to the world.
