Daniel Crowley could be getting ready for a season-long loan deal either in England’s second tier or the Bundesliga next season.
That’s according to recent reports on ESPN UK, who have said the 19-year-old has been on the radar of many clubs both home and abroad, all of which have been keeping track of the Englishman’s growth.
Crowley had a good time in the second half of the previous season with Eredivise side, Go Ahead Eagles, though he couldn’t help them avoid relegation.
It is clear that if he hopes to break into the first team, he needs to be on the pitch more regularly at a higher standard which is why this interest does not come shocking.
The two clubs that have already been mentioned are Hannover and Fulham.
Hannover finished second in last season’s 2. Bundesliga and got promoted back into the top tier in Germany whilst Slavisa Jokanovic’s side lost their chance at a Premier League return after defeat against Reading in the play-off semi-finals.
Crowley, who turns 20 in early August, remains one the highly-rated young midfielders the Gunners have and the club’s management will be keen to tie him down to a new deal before any loan deal is finalized.
He has previously said that he’s prepared to move elsewhere in order to become a Premier League footballer if not given the chance at Arsenal, though they will hope that this does not happen.
He is yet to be called up to the Gunners senior team despite putting up an impressive display on pre-season tours, so this next few months will shape his future.
