Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu is interested in a move to either England or Italy amid interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Lazio.
The 23-year-old, who was not available in the final four months of the previous season as a result of a FIFA suspension, has caught the attention of several European clubs after performing beautifully in the Bundesliga before his ban.
Despite his ban, which was due to a breach in his contract during the early part of his career, the Turker was still able to rack up 9 goals in 26 appearances for club and country.
And according to Bild, Calhanoglu is holding out for a move to the Premier League or Italy, with his future at Leverkusen still uncertain.
The News Media also revealed that Lazio are only willing to offer £13million, which is way below Leverkusen’s worth.
This increases the chances for both Arsenal and Spurs, who have had the Turkish star on their radar in recent months.
Bayer officials Rudi Voller and Jonas Boldt held talks with Calhanoglu concerning his future and futher meetings are expected in the coming weeks.
